Botim App Introduces UAE’s First ‘Send Now, Pay Later’ Remittance Service

Published on:

Catering to the UAE’s large expatriate community, Astra Tech has introduced an innovative financial service aimed at easing the burden of monthly money transfers. The company’s popular app, Botim Ultra, now features the Middle East’s first-ever ‘Send Now, Pay Later’ (SNPL) service. This new option gives UAE expats the ability to instantly send money internationally while splitting payments into installments.

SNPL is a unique service in the UAE, making Botim Ultra the first fintech app in the region to offer installment-based international remittance. This feature adds to Astra Tech’s growing fintech portfolio, following significant growth in remittance transactions during 2023.

The SNPL option specifically targets expats regularly sending money home, helping reduce financial stress, particularly at month-end when expenses typically rise. By allowing payments to be deferred, Botim supports users in better managing their budgets without compromising their family’s financial support abroad.

Abdallah Abu Sheikh, Astra Tech founder and CEO of Botim, described this new offering as a major advancement. He said, “This service will transform how millions of people handle international money transfers, making it quicker, simpler, and less stressful to fulfill financial commitments.”

Since launching international remittances in 2022, Botim has facilitated significant money flows into countries like India, Egypt, and Pakistan. With the recent acquisition of a financial license through Quantix, Astra Tech now expands its capabilities further, providing reliable credit solutions to users.

Botim Ultra’s nine million registered users can pre-register now to access the new SNPL feature before it becomes widely available.
